What is the Grady Gravel Queen program?

The Gravel Biking program offers various activities that allow you to immerse yourself in the world of gravel biking. These include guided tours, self-guided tours, workshops, a campfire evening where you can exchange experiences, and the Gravel Testival.

Who can take part in the program?

The program is aimed at anyone interested in gravel biking, regardless of their experience level. Both beginners and experienced bikers are welcome – the focus is on the shared experience.

How long do the guided tours last?

The duration of the guided tours varies depending on the route and level of difficulty, but they generally last between 2 and 4 hours.

What should I bring for the tours?

Please bring your Gravel Bike (or a rental bike, if available), a helmet, suitable clothing, a water bottle, snacks and any personal tools you may need for the workshop.

What is a mechanic workshop?

In the workshop, you will learn how to maintain and repair your gravel bike independently. Basic techniques and tips will be provided to ensure your bike remains in excellent condition.

Where does the program take place?

The program takes place in a picturesque setting ideal for gravel biking. The exact locations and meeting points will be announced upon registration.

Is food provided during the program?

Yes, there will be various catering options during the program sponsors and partners will provide products.

Bikes

With which bikes can I participate?

Participation is possible with gravel bikes, but also with MTBs. Please make sure that your bike is serviced.

Do I have to bring my own gravel bike?

You should bring your own gravel bike to get the most out of the tours and workshops. However, there will also be the option of hiring bikes. Please enquire in advance.

Testival

What can I expect at the Gravel Testival?

At the Gravel Testival, you can test different gravel bikes and equipment. Manufacturers and experts will be on hand to help you choose the right equipment.

Registration

Do I have to register for the camp in advance?

Yes, prior registration is required to ensure enough places and materials for all participants.

Is there an age limit for participation?

There is no specific age restriction.

What happens in case of bad weather?

In bad weather, activities will be adjusted according to conditions. Safety is paramount, and all participants will be informed in good time of any changes to the program.

Can I only take part in parts of the GGQ program?

Depending on your mood, you can participate in more or less of the program.

Do I have to register for the workshops in advance and can I participate spontaneously?

When you pick up your starting documents, please register for the program items you want to participate in.
